- All California burials at sea require a permit issued from the State of California. If you have the VS- 9 permit already that states “at sea off the coast of Santa Cruz,” we are all set.
- OR you can go to ANY California County Vital Records office, bring the original death certificate or state transit permit, and they will issue you a permit at the counter for $12.00
- If we get the permit for you, you will need to send us the state transit permit or death certificate and the total cost is $69.00
