Hello from Ashes on the Sea. This month, we've been honored to guide families through their moments of farewell along California's beautiful shores.

Ceremonies of Remembrance
We conducted numerous ash scattering ceremonies, each personalized and meaningful. A highlight was a sunset ceremony near Malibu, where dolphins unexpectedly accompanied us, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the family.

This past weekend at Ashes on the Sea, we've witnessed some profoundly moving moments as we assisted families in saying their heartfelt goodbyes. From the beaches of Ventura to the harbors of San Diego, we navigated the magnificent waters of California, honoring the wishes of the departed and their families. Each ash scattering ceremony was a unique journey - a blend of shared memories, love, and respect. As we watched the ashes disperse into the vast Pacific, we were reminded of the beautiful cycle of life and death - a touching testament to the enduring spirit of those who have left us, but whose legacies live on in the rhythm of the sea.

It was a serene and heartfelt ceremony, a reminder of the profound beauty in the cycle of life and the comfort that nature can provide.

Created by two licensed USCG Master Captains, these unedited, friendly one- or two-minute videos assist family decision-making in honoring a loved one’s final sea burial wishes.
